Empathy, Acceptance and Commitment
I have a passion to help clients of all ages grow and find healing in every season no matter how difficult. I have experience working with children, adolescents, teens, young to midlife adults, couples, and seniors.
I’m a keen listener and strive to create a safe environment where you can explore complex issues, develop coping skills, healing, and growth while discovering your individual uniqueness, and true potential. My person-centered holistic approach allows me to uniquely utilize modern psychotherapy modalities such as Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Play Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Family of Origin (FOO) to build a plan that is individually suited to you.
I graduated with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University after earning my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Liberty University. In addition, I have an Associates of Arts in Biblical Studies from the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago with an emphasis on Global Missions. I’m also a certified life coach.
Outside of my work as a counselor, I enjoy time with my family and anything outdoors. I have been married to my husband Shaun for twenty-five years and we have three children.
